Enugu Senator, Osita Ngwu Attends Closing Ceremony of Renaissance Youths Ngwo Clan's Free Long Vacation Lesson
Senator Osita Ngwu, the esteemed representative of the Enugu West constituency, graced the closing ceremony of the Renaissance Youths Ngwo Clan's Free Long Vacation Lesson, Awards, and Scholarship program. The event, which was held at Ave Maria Hall in Okwojo Ngwo, Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, marked a significant milestone in the educational empowerment of the local youth.
Senator Osita Ngwu, although unable to attend in person, was represented by a four-member delegation, led by Hon. Kenechukwu Aniekwe, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment and National Coordinator of Renaissance Youth Nationwide. Other members of the delegation included Ozo Fred Onyia, Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment for Udi LGA; Hon. Engr. Allison; and Hon. Ifeanyichukwu Agu, the coordinator of Renaissance Youth Eke Ward.
In his address, Hon. Kenechukwu Aniekwe conveyed Senator Ngwu's heartfelt appreciation to the coordinators of the program, specifically acknowledging Hon. Calistus Onyia (Califo), Hon. Engr. Ugochukwu Agu Chukwumerije, and Hon. Christian Eze (Promoter) for their dedicated efforts in ensuring the success of the program. Hon. Aniekwe also extended gratitude to the teachers and other stakeholders for their invaluable contributions and commended the pupils and students for their enthusiastic participation in this educational opportunity.
Ozo Fred Onyia (Uzodigwe) also expressed his appreciation for the coordinators of the program and assured them of continued support for future initiatives. He promised an even more successful outing for next year's annual program.
The ceremony's highlights included the presentation of scholarships to the top ten students in the lesson by Senator Osita Ngwu, the distribution of instructional and writing materials to over a hundred pupils and students who excelled in the lesson, and captivating cultural dance performances by the students.
In attendance were Hon. Amaka Offor, Mr. Ugwumsichi Onyia, as well as legislative aides to Senator Osita Ngwu. The event was a resounding success, showcasing the dedication of the Ngwo Clan community to the education and development of its youth.
